"A gem in Carleton Place both for the food and the views! It has an incredible water backdrop if you?re on the patio and inside is a bougie, modern atmosphere. I?ve been here a few times now and have not been disappointed- food and service has been more or less consistently good (we had one bad experience on both fronts). Ribs are fall off the bone and calamari was a different on two separate occasions (one we liked and the other wasn?t much of a fan of but will give it credit for the creativity). Would highly recommend."

"Yesterday I picked up 2 dinners for 7 at Fisherman Palace. Also, garlic shrimp with broccoli, shrimp with mixed vegetables, as well as Szechuan Spicy Mixed Vegetables, and Kung Pao Bean Curd for two vegetarian grandkids. My family had a birthday banquet that night.Everything was beautifully wrapped up for taking out, and the food was, without exception, delicious!The Fisherman Palace cook s ? are something special. The premises could use some sprucing up to be worthy of them, but the food is beyond reproach. I don't live in Carleton Place but made the trip just for this. Highest possible recommendation from me!"

"Great little restaurant with cooked food and homemade desserts. We go here often for breakfast. The frittata is fantastic. Warning the place is small so it can sometimes be difficult to find a table. They are also not open daily so check whether they are open to not be disappointed."

"Drive through is slower due to Swiss Chalet/Harvey's menu so chill while you wait or preorder on the app to pick up at the counter if in a hurry. Most of the people are really nice."

"I recently went here for brunch with 4 other people around 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon and the service was horrible. The waitress (older with a blonde bun) was prompt to take our orders right away and the food came decently fast but after we got our food we sat there for 45 mins without even seeing our waitress. All of our glasses were empty and we all wanted something else to drink/eat. The waitress even went to the table beside us to take their orders and still never checked on us. She finally came over and just asked who was paying what without even asking how our meal was or if we wanted a dessert menu. Then when we got our bills two things were wrong on it but we didn't have the time to wait for the waitress to fix it. The food is amazing but with such horrible service I won't be back again. To the server who waitressed us... if your section is to big and you can't handle it ask for help! You will actually leave with tips in your pocket next time...... what a shame!"

"I've visited a lot of vegetarian restaurants along the years. This one serves very good food but for a price that's over what I would be comfortable spending as a regular (which I'd gladly be as it's close to my work). Let's face it. Vegetarian food is usually cheaper to supply but here that's not reflected very well. I feel the venue piggybacks on the über-trendy yoga lifestyle, and it is the only place in 50 km radius to serve other than "let's erase the meat protein and so you have a vegetarian meal" options. Worth a visit? Yes. One has to try it for oneself to determine the value."
