"This small kiosk is located in the parking lot of the local Intermarche supermarket and is operated by a person. Its pizzas are great, fresh in front of you and cooked with fresh ingredients. The hygiene standards are good, which does not apply to many French restaurants...in my experience. He also does Tarte Flambee, which is also good. I'm not a big fan of pizza, so only occasionally go, but I'm always happy with the quality and price."

"On a very dry rainy day in January, one of many actually, and after visiting Dead Man's Corner, we discovered this great little bistro L’Escapade in Carentan, less than 10 minutes from the war exhibition. Simple retro decor with fabulous New Orleans Blues music... and a delicious three-course menu for 12 Euros. Could have spent the whole afternoon watching the rain coming down and drinking Rosé!"

"Effectivement le prix peut être attractif mais la cuisine est déplorable. Lorsque la Porte sur les cuisines s'ouvre, il y a une odeur noseabonde. Un conseil il ne faut pas non plus utiliser les sanitaires. Enfin le repas servi est froid et à peine cuit. À éviter absolument. Seul point positif : la serveuse qui essaye malgré tout de faire de son mieux. Courage à elle."
