"The only complaint was the oysters were very tiny with too much of a salty taste. They were not very good at all in comparison with many other restaurants of lower quality service. The service was fine. The atmosphere was very nice. The cost was a bit higher than most but everything else was to contentment."

"On our yearly visit with our Artiste friends from the Western Art Show at the Stampede Grounds BMO Centre, we had another terrific Stampede Evening! The Service impeccable (Greg), the outdoor venue very nice (vines are impressive) and the food was par excellence! Thank you once again Embarcadero, for at least the 12th year we have all returned on the Wednesday of the Calgary Stampede!"

"It was a very quiet evening when we dined on a Thursday evening so enjoyed the calm! Really lovely decor and comfortable seating. Our waiter, Russell, was attentive but not overbearing. It is mainly a tapas menu. The three of us shared a delicious cheese board. We chose three each of the cheeses and meats that came with honey and walnuts, and home-made antipasto. I want to try this for lunch soon. I'll be back for dinner, too."

"The best damn southern style Barbecue I have ever had. The Briskets, Ribs, the BBQ sauce, the super chilled drinks, and all the incredible sides made my trip to Calgary significantly more enjoyable. I have honestly considered travelling to Calgary solely for trying this place again! Absolutely recommended!!"
