"A small restaurant recommended to us at the hotel we were staying. Tried the home made ravioli pretty good sauce and lots of cheese. Despite our lack of Spanish the owner and the young waitress made us feel welcomed. Toilets next to the eating...area a minus point."

"This is not the best food you find in the city, but it is very good for the price. We had the Bratviertel chicken flour and a dozen Empanadas. Chicken was really good, but the Empanadas wasn't the best I had in Cafayate. The...outside (movement) was a taded transfer. The good in this place is the prices, about 20% lower than near the Plaza. Other diners, a mixture of locals and tourists, seemed happy with the food. The place was almost full. There are many ways to eat."

"Chato is a charming and welcoming host. From the moment we arrive he made us feel at home. The bar itself is a beautiful room with tables that Chato made from wine barrels. He has an extensive knowledge wines from the region and makes 600...bottles of wine a year from local grapes. We enjoyed all of the wines we tasted very much. I would highly recommend a visit to Chato’s!"
