"This restaurant would have received a 5 is the staff was a little more personable.Yes I know, its a food court what do you expect; but its simple, if you are friendly it makes your customers happy.The food itself is great, their calamari is cooked to order so its not greasy and heavy, they have great falafel, and their gryo's are great."

"We dinned there yesterday and it was simply amazing! The food is incredible, so fresh and so tasty! Definitely the best traditional Greek food I’ve tried in the lower mainland. We will definitely go back! The owner and staff were amazing. We had Sheri looking after us and she was awesome! We ordered 2 appetizers, 1 main, 1 bottle of wine, and 1 dessert for 2 people and we left happy and very full! All for $115. Such great value!"

"The restaurant had a good selection of Greek beers. The appetizers we had were the calimari, pita with 3 dips and dolmades. Excellent. We also had main courses of spanakopita, vegetarian moussaka, and lamb shoulder. All were well done. The service was prompt and friendly."

"We love Greek food, and Cristos is one of the better Greek restaurants we have ever been to. That includes a healthy dozen or so from Athens, Crete and Rhodes last year. The combination plates are the best, as is the mousaka, and Cristoes' own tzatziki based sauce, which is great with pita, and with the meat entrees as well as their roasted potatoes."

Conclusion: 3 of 5 spoons.<br/ <br/ Yums:<br/ Food was fresh and tasty. <br/ Service was friendly, but slow.<br/ Portion vs. price ratio is good.<br/ <br/ Meehs: <br/ A bit older restaurant so nothing posh or fancy.<br/ Gets warm inside when weather is nice.<br/ <br/ Review: I probably would never have gone here if not for the groupon deal. Having said that I probably still wouldn 't have gone there if not for the affirmation to try it out from my friend. Online reviews are so polarized!<br/ <br/ Location was convenient with parking in the back. Decor is old and somewhat rustic. Clearly it 's not meant to be high end nor fine dinning, but for the family and neighbour crowd.<br/ <br/ Got there at 6:15pm with a few tables already filled. Good sign.<br/ <br/ Menu is simple with traditional items. We both ordered pasta because we wanted to be on the 'safe ' side. I ordered the calamari penne and my friend ordered the smoked salmon penne.<br/ <br/ The bread came. It was sourdough with a bowl of soft butter and dish of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Classic.<br/ <br/ I enjoy bread. I appreciate fresh bread. I love fresh WARM bread. This was not it. 4 slices of most likely store bought bread. But it was fresh and it 's free.<br/ <br/ After maybe 20 mins our food finally came. Presentation was sparse. Old oval plate with a parsley on the side. I guess they at least try. <br/ <br/ Pasta was good. Al dente done perfectly. Sauce was not water and actually tasted very different between the two dishes. My friend 's smoked salmon was very flavorful with the smokey richness of the salmon.<br/ <br/ My calamari was at first sight, a big let down because I thought it would be deep fried calamari. However it was unbattered calamari. My bad i should have clarified before ordering. Still it was very good and my sauce had a bit of kick which I always enjoy.<br/ <br/ I would recommend giving it a go if you are nearby, but definitely not a 'you gotta go try it ' place."

"I thought that my wife and I had dined at every Greek restaurant in Burnaby so we found this restaurant to a surprising discovery. The atmosphere was quite relaxing and the decor authentic. My wife and I were greeted almost immediately and shown to our table. The service throughout was great. Our water glasses were never empty. My wife had the chicken and I ate the lamb.The rice was not too salty and the salad crisp. Our appetizer of calamari was well prepared and not overcooked. The wine list was small but of good varieties. The prices here are very reasonable. I cannot understand why the place was so empty but it is an excellent place for a quiet lunch or dinner."
