"This beautiful little gem of a restaurant checks all the boxes! The food is amazing, our waiter, Eric, is knowledgeable and personable. It’s clear that he has not only tasted the dishes (and has a fine palate) but he also knows how they’ve been prepared. It’s the perfect size, the background music is relaxing but unobtrusive and the food starts with excellent quality ingredients and is elevated from there with a creative hand. I lived in Maine for many years but the scallops I had here rivaled any I’ve eaten off the boat. Not a speck of grit and that’s hard to get in even the finest restaurants in New England. My partners duck was perfectly done and the accompaniments always enhance the star of the plate, never overpower. I don’t drink wine but my partner has raved about the wines he’s had. They always do something a bit unexpected, the kale Caesar salad had a dressing made with tonnato rather than anchovy, lush and creamy! The pecan cake is made with polenta so it’s dense and full of pecans with a crispy bottom, served cold with crème fraiche, it’s the perfect ending to a memorable experience."

"Our first visit to Mother's and it won't be our last. Sat at the bar and got great service and had good conversation. Food and drink were fantastic at a reasonable price. I had scallops and my wife had meatloaf. We ended the evening with the best carrot cake in the world."

"Drove the 30 minutes from Niagara Falls to try this restaurant as Buffalo wings are a family favorite. The atmosphere was great, the waitress was attentive and friendly, the food was yummy! Service was timely and food was great! We ordered the pizza logs, honey BBQ and medium wings. The pizza logs were not a big hit with us but we loved the wings! Hubby wished there was a little more sauce but overall an enjoyable experience!"
