"Haven't even tried my food yet but i needed to comment on the attitude of the women taking the orders here. I came 9.16 my first time ever at around 6pm. I was brought here by a friend and had no idea what to expect. You basically pick whatever seafood you like, they weigh it and charge you, you then go to a station where the seafood is washed and then another area where it's cooked to your preference. The wait is long. Even for one order but that's ok as you can see they are literally doing everything from scratch. The problem is the energy. You feel tension the minute you walk in. The tones in the voices of the people talking to you are just so off putting. For no reason. You can be as polite as you can and your met with just a terrible vibe. My friend knew one women who worked here but she was on her way out, she seemed genuinely kind and greeted people in the store. I would've loved to leave a tip, as i work in service and can tell the cooks work hard, but with that hospitality you feel d doing such a gesture. Hire friendly people for front of house if you care about customer service! From reading the previous reviews it seems like something that you just have to accept at this place. For myself, i cannot tolerate such unpleasantness, especially after spending over $200 here."

"Love this neighborhood place! For quick meals or great fish orders it is my go to when I’m in need of a seafood fix. Everything is fresh and tastes so good! and the owner is SO nice and always there, which for me I have a rule that I don’t spend my money where the service is terrible. Def a bedstuy staple."
