"Don't let the facade fool you. Walked in the door and it was clear that no expense was spared on the interior, and then the deck seating overlooking the river! Beautiful! Friendly and gracious staff, delicious food (wife swears the grilled vegetable wrap is the best she's ever had), and very reasonable prices We will return any time we're local. Thank you, Ella's!"

"What a beautiful place to lunch. I went to meet for a family (kingston, cornwall, ottawa) 11 in all. we were greeted with smiles, served delicious food and made to feel like home. the owner even took a group photo. pizza is delicious and sandwiches looked amazing. I'm sure we'll meet again. shout out to mica our amazing waitress thank you."

"Every now and then I forget how disappointing this bakery is and make the mistake of going in to grab a quick treat. Have you ever made those Betty crocker cookies from the package? The just add water ones? Well, you've probably made the same cookies they sell for $1.50/each at Taits. Food looks great, costs a lot, and and consistently disappointing. Do yourself a favour and go to superstore for your baked goods."

This is a most wonderful restaurant for people who are discerning about their food as well as the ambiance, which the staff ensured was favourable to the venue of an ancient heritage building turned into a charming, historically based restaurant.
