"Comfort food which tastes like light nostalgia.<br/ <br/ Mine: chicken kebab is hefty, dense laden with chunks of garlic marinated breast that pungent garlic sauce I'll be tasting for daaays, in the best way. <br/ <br/ His: shish kebab balances more greenery (in lettuce taboulleh form) with chockablocked marinated beef lamb slices.<br/ <br/ Ours: pastries sweet enough to make blood turn into treacle. Also come prepackaged so too easy to pop in for a takehome box on the way past.<br/ <br/ The only place we go for kebab cravings."

"Bad service is definitely part of the experience here, it's hilariously terrible!But totally worth it for such great healthy fresh food. Best falafel kebab in town. Meat is also really well prepared. Can BYO in dining area. Excellent value for money. Can also order tubs of their hommus to take away."

"You don't need a passport and a trip to Lebanon to discover this fabulous food! This is my third visit and again Rouj lived up to it's previous reputation of good excellent food and service. This time I booked the inside booth for a more private dining experience for my staff Christmas Party and we were well and truly looked after and indulged with the Lebanese banquet which is great value. I also booked privately a belly dancer to which the restaurant accommodated happily. My advice just go, go to Rouj Modern Lebanese!"

"Listen to this NO WHERE in Brisbane are you going to find kebabs that are served fresh, full and delicious like these! Actual real salad is served with your choice of meat and if you like you can have any additional middle eastern fillers...with your kebab. Service is a little abrupt but it’s understandable because it is so, so busy. You won’t beat this. Eat here. Often. PS: Kebabs are at lunchtime. That’s right, time to go to Specsavers"
