"We went on a Friday night and saw a long queue before the restaurant. it seems that this is for customers who eat on the non-BBQ section. if they have bbq, they will point to the section above. the wait is much shorter and we were served within 15 minutes. service was fast and eating amazing. highly recommended!"

"I found myself in Brisbane city trying to find somewhere to eat on a recent business trip when I thought Korean bbq sounded good and I found myself at Hanwoori. It was really quiet being a Monday night but there was an excellent range of hot food, accompaniments and different meats. The cookers used by Hanwoori are different from anything I have seen before and they produce a minimum of smoke. I'd happily go back any time!"

"We booked and pre-paid for 22 people to have BBQ menu. As organiser I was 5mins late into our 6pm booking. The whole group arrived at 5.45pm and the owner immediately started to serve the food without doing a head count OR waiting for the...organiser to arrive. So when I arrived the group were already halfway into their meals. I asked the head waitress to bring our BBQ menu and she said they already portioned the food for 22 people amongst the 5 tables. I was horrified and explained literally that since the food was already served and eaten those who are late would get no food, she said YES cos the food was already served. I can get more food BUT I had to pay extra. After trying to explain so she can understand the owner arrived with an angry face and refused to listen to me, telling me he runs his restaurant the way he wants and does not need me to understand...the owner was happy to give me more food BUT I had to pay extra...so I told him where to go. When we were leaving the owner wanted us to pay for the extra 4 people who didn't come because he gave enough food for 26 as per my final number. Again I said we do not have 26 only 22, he can physically head count...but the owner was furious and started calling me horrible and telling me to go. The owner even threw salt outside the door before I stepped out and threw more salt following me when I left. The owner needs to throw salt at himself cos he is the evil person. DO NOT GO EAT THERE AS A GROUP, THE OWNER WILL ROB YOU AND CURSE YOU. Food portions are not enough for us, food quality is mediocre, service is terrible."

"Hidden away in the relatively new Bakery Lane precinct is this fabulous little Korean restaurant with a broad interesting menu ( unlike the many Korean chicken restaurants that are flourishing in Brisbane ).We both had the delicious bowl of Teriyaki Salmon on rice with salad all thrown together. The food looked great, very fresh and perfect for a late lunch. On a coolish day there are plenty of heaters to keep you warm in the courtyard.Reasonably priced and quick efficient service."

"We ate tonight on Friday night. The participants and the main courses are of very bad standard, not even made at home standard. I ordered the okinomiyaku for Entree and the sauce was too salty and sour and the mixed vegetables were soggy. My friend ordered the pig-catsudon and was dry. The main course we ordered was spicy pig bell served with stone bowl, but they grounded the order and it came as a normal rice bowl with 3 pieces 1mm thin pig bell and many cabbage and 4 julienne sizes of capcicum. My friend tempura udon who has only two pawns I think were bought by Coles. Bad experience."
