"No exaggeration best fish and chips (and burger) I've ever had in my life. Chicken burger was great value for money, crumbed fish and chips were perfectly made, no excess oil. Homemade tartare sauce was amazing. This place will ruin fish and chips everywhere for me."

"I always wanted to try fish kitchen. Decided to have the governor which was battered cod with chips, malt vinegar and mushy peas. I asked grilled cod instead of the battered one. Generally the food was good and well priced. The mushy peas was exceptional!!!"

"Wilston on the other day, this fish spoon started me. this day there were some great lunchtime specialties so my option was grilled fish with garden salad. the fish was cooked nicely, the salat was crispy with a pleasant dressing. chips that my friend ordered were also good"

"My girlfriend and I got take away fish and chips from here last month (we went and had it in the park across the road). I was astounded by how rude the lady running the place was. I had my very well behaved border collie on a leash, a picnic blanket under my arm and my baby in the other - and without any preamble she came up and barked at me "No dogs allowed here". I replied "thats ok - we are ordering take away".... Then I walked over to my girlfriend who was sitting at the table with her little girl (waiting for me) and my friend told me that about 5minutes before her daughter isla had been playing with a salt sachet and the lady stormed over, and without a word snatched the salt off her daughter and stomped back behind the counter.... We purchased $60 worth of fish and chips and we were literally THE ONLY customers there (the japanese place next door was pumping with people; and admittedly, having frequented there - I must say it is brilliant). And no surprise really... with such crap customer treatment its no wonder the place was empty. The fish was good - but we will not return ever again because the service was disgraceful and the woman was very rude."

"It was definitely a great experience. It’s very different from typical fish n chips places. The restaurant had nice and modern fit out. We had FRESH fish burger. It was so good, tasted fresh. Of course the fish quality wasn’t that great (I didn’t expect excellent quality fish for that price anyway). Will definitely visit again!!!"
