"I have previously visited Very Italian Pizza on several occasions and always told people that it was the very best pizza you could find anywhere in Brighton. However, my last visit was a little lacking. Service wasn't great. We weren't offered any water and getting the attention of waiting staff to order and get a bill was difficult. I understand that it gets busy but it was if we'd been forgotten. The food was very generous in its portion size. The pizzas are very big and we were offered doggy bags for the amounts we couldn't eat in one go. Taste-wise, it was good but it wasn't the best pizza I'd ever had. It was nice but it wasn't the out-of-the-world pizza I'd already had before. I'll still be back and hopefully just visited on a bad day, but I was disappointed after having such high hopes for a revisit."

"Terrible. this so-called restaurant has the worst service of the world. we were here until 2 years ago when we retired bad service at a series of locations. after a 2 years absentness we have tried it again and the service is now even worse than at that time. the personal is rude and ignores the customers. we were booked on Saturday night for 7.30 a.m. We came at 7.25 and were told that we should sit there as they were directed on a table in the corner. no breathing to bring us to the table) we sat down and despite numerous attempts to win the attention of the waitress, we were immediately ignored for 25 minutes. during this time came 2 other couples into the restaurant and one man were ignored...more"

"My sons had the 16th birthday and we had a total of 27 people! what a fantastic night! the service and the staff were absolutely beautiful, so friendly and courteous! could not have asked for a better place and that was delicious! many thanks to all in seasons, my son had a really nice birthday! !"

"We went on sat 13th, I know it was the night before the marathon that's why we were there so my husband could fill up on pasta ready for the following day. But it was so busy. I think a few times we were forgot about untill we asked the waitress. We waited 45 minutes for our starter then another 50 minutes for our main. If it wasn't for the fact it was already late and my husband needed to eat I would of walked out."

"Food is good, staff used to be friendly but these days not so much. My 2yr old was looking at the menu, waitress came past 'you finished with that ' not as a question just took it off him. Would have walked out had we not already ordered. Shame as place used to be lovely."
