"Charming and very well placed, 2 steps from the center of Brantôme. The reception is excellent as well as the restoration. The frame is bucolic and invites to relaxation. All that is proposed is homemade and based on local products. I loved her. If we come back later, we found our point of fall. Jérôme."

"We had a wonderful dinner. La Recre Gourmande’s food is elegant but somehow marvellously unstuffy. It is situated in a part of France, Perigord, that is famous for wonderful produce. Duck, nuts, truffles and cheese appear on the menu alongside burgers and chips. Inside the dining room is beautifully decorated with a long garland, glowing stove and comfortable chairs. Outside there is a terrace overlooking garden which is ideal for warmer days. The service is attentive and merry but not intrusive. It’s a delight. We’ve been coming for years."
