"We visited the Railway this weekend, which we found on Google when asked for 'carveries near me ' we were in the area with some friends. The landlady said she could get us in when I phoned and enquired, and when we arrived a while before our booking time to have a drink, they got our table ready and we were all done with our meal before time. Impressed!! It was busy but didn 't affect the service or standard of food. Meat was perfect and the range of veg was staggering!! Nine different types. We scoffed the lot and were stuffed. It really was yummy. Wouldn definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Was a lovely dinner!! Thanks!!"

"Found owners, Vicky and Ricky very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have never used accommodation where it was shared facilities but everything was kept in pristine condition. With the pub being a local establishment I found the customers very friendly...and made my stay more home like. I’ve been here for over months and even with the opportunity to relocate to accommodation closer to where I’m working I have decline so I could continue staying here. I’m a man of routine, some could say OCD but I’m more then happy with the condition my room is maintained, with my bedding changed twice a week as I requested and clean towels are always available when I request. For any workers looking for accommodation I would defiantly recommend."

"Went here on May 20. Entered to be greeted by a Temporary landlord who told us that the previous landlord had left in a hurry and that currently there was no food, only drink, whilst a new operator was found. If you're expecting to eat here, you're wasting your time until it's sorted."
