"Ideal place to meet up with a friend for a catch up, converstation and coffee. Lovely surroundings and very quiet depending when you go. I've always loved the White Hart. Its such a beautiful building and so well loved and looked after. The staff are friendly and very polite too. Its a lovely environment, certainly one to enjoy. Love the renovations to the front now the riverside wall has been extensively repaired and large tree removed due to root damage."

"I was looking for a late evening to eat and came over boston spice. we love a good thai so we thought we would try. at the arrival the restaurant was empty, so we had no problems serving and serving. to start with, we went for the Sharing plate. Eat was delicious, hot and fast service. good part. just what was not great was the chili sauce (very vinegary.) we pulled on the net to curry and rice. again the food was delicious, hot and tasty. the total service was ok, but could have been much better. we felt very out of the house and the waiter stared at us again and again, which was very incessant. not very friendly, but was fast with service. it's ok and not bad. only disappointing was that the personal does not provide them with a postcode, split only by food drinks. they also charge 50p if they want to take away their food."

"It 's a hidden gem before the rough and ready Boston! The things you find in here are unique, and I recommend this place if you like to be different or simply like 'showing off '! The great thing is you don 't have to feel rushed to make a decision because you can venture upstairs for some lunch with your friends or there 's just a quiet spot for a couple. Oh... the food is YUMMY and there 's more items upstairs too!"

"I’m on a mission to find a decent Sunday roast, unfortunately I didn’t find it today… I’ve heard great reviews from friends about The Castle Inn so decided to give it a go today. We were shown to a tiny table that had no hope of accommodating our plates plus the vegetable serving plate and gravy boat so my husband asked for a takeaway instead of dining in, despite being told they were fully booked and had no other table miraculously they found us somewhere else to sit (much appreciated btw). The meal arrived and the portions were very generous. The vegetables were all cooked well and my turkey was moist and well cooked, my beef was very chewy though. The mashed potato (of which there was loads) was so overpowering with pepper it was inedible. The roast potatoes were chargrilled but fluffy inside. My husbands gammon was dry. We were asked if the meal was ok and it was just about ok, certainly not good. Unfortunately this is another local establishment where I won’t be eating a Sunday roast again"
