"I wish I could rate that higher, but I wasn't really impressed. The inherited fish was good, and the frits were not bad, but the tartaric acid sauce was rough. It was super sweet and tasted nothing like tartaric acid sauce. In fact, it had only a sweet, carrot-like taste. It was very disappointing. Tartar sauce is essential at a fishfield. The Clam-Chowder wasn't the best. In fact, Red Robin has this beat-hand-down. Too much potato and not enough shells. Although the dining room is clean and people are super-nice, the price of meal was so expensive-prohibitive, I won't be back. I paid $16.48 for a child's meal, Clam Chowder and Coke! That's remarkable. If they lower prices by 25%, I would feel that the value was there. But they need decent tartaric acid sauce to get me back. It is a real shame because the niceness of the staff, cleanliness, classical music and decent fish would have given this 5-star rating if it didn't cost as much as a steak dinner for a piece of fish and a soup!"

"I can't believe I haven't written a review yet for this place. If I want a nice piece of fish, this is the place I go to. I've had sturgeon, idaho sturgeon, their black cod, caviar, all of their sushi grade fish, and more.Highly recommend this place and it would be a loss to the treasure valley if this place ever closed.Highly recommend the Ora king salmon. Great for sushi, smoking, and even pan seared or roasted.Yellowfin tuna is also recommended.If you feel adventurous go for the idaho sturgeon it's cheaper than the standard sturgeon and just as delicious and local!!!!!They have all sorts of clams and oysters. Not my thing but I'm sure they are just as good for people that love them."

"Place was totally empty and it still took over 30 minutes to send out three rolls! The sushi maker (won’t call him a chef) was more interested in chatting up the blonde at the bar then actually making our food. When it arrived there was very little inside the rolls and the flavor was lackluster. It looked like someone forgot about true tempura shrimp as the crust was beyond over cooked. For $40 I expected a whole lot more. Oh, and there are only about 12 total rolls on the menu. We are “one and done” at this place."

"Love the friendly service and the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. However I was told the food I ordered wasn't too spicy and it compared to the level of heat from the salsa. It was way spicier than what I wanted and wasn't like the salsa at all. But it tasted delicious so just a warning, the food is spicier than what was promised."
