"This restaurant can be truly magical with superb food on offer, excellent top quality wines and perfect frendly service. However yesterday evening proved to be very disappointing due to the rather boring fish course of 3 small portions of steamed under cooked fish wish tasted of nothing. we told the waitress what we thought and she didn't like it one bit. She began a tirade of insulting remarks telling us that this fish was exactly what she had described to us previously when ordering but a fish which is the same colour of tuna when cooked is not a white fish in my experience. Not content with telling us off once she returned again to have the very last word. She was totally rude and out of order for she was only a waitress and we were guests. She spoke only in French to Eric so I didn't understand exactly what she said but her face was like thunder she reminded me of a frustrated spinster teaching a class of terrified students. I shall find out who she is and make a formal complaint to the senior management. All the other staff were pleasant and friendly but my tummy was tied up in knots after her nasty tirade that my meal was totally ruined.I would also like to point out that when being shown to a table away from a good sea view were told that the table in front of us was not available. Why then did not one person sit at this table when we were dining?Get your act together Senior management or we will be going elsewhere in future when in Biarritz"

"I found several good reviews of this restaurant on the net and so whilst in Biarritz we decided to try it out. The location is in a quiet residential area of town, away from the buzz of the beach, with relaxed locals going about their business. We were greeted by a friendly waiter who was helpful throughout our dinner. The fish soup was excellent and my roast hake with chorizo was fab. Other notable courses in our group were the seafood tagliatelle (fresh), the garlic prawns and the cod cooked Spanish style. We drank a light crisp rose from Provence that was perfect and at 18 Euros was well priced. There was duck and cote de boeuf available for non fish eaters so most bases covered. I would definitely return and recommend this great little restaurant."
