"The Ark is the kind of bar in which we go summer to be on the terrace under trees, but also the one in which we drink a good hot chocolate in winter. Student bar on Thursday night, bar with a lot of atmosphere on other days. We like to sit down there and talk to the bosses around a good beer. There's a lot of animations and it's cool. We're back after the covid."

"Repas bon mais je m'attendais à autre chose après avoir lu quelques avis sur ce site.Peu de choix (2 ou 3 entrées, 2 plats et 2 ou 3 desserts)Je n'ai pas trouver de rapport entre le nom du restaurant et la cuisine servie.Ça reste tout de même un bon restaurant."

"The French specialty restaurant is composed in the intimate atmosphere and a rustic brin. The service is fast and efficient, the card will offer you a multitude of cheese fondues or meats, there is for all tastes. Everything was generally very good even if the dishes offered are difficult to stand out from the multitude of other similar establishments. In the aperitif we will find the traditional macvin but for me I recommend the regional trombonix ambere beer. Chavignol's crotin salad was a copious but had some seasoning. Burgundian fondue and potato accompaniment in the papillote and rice were very good. I also recommend fondue with a really succulent beer. The wine list is limited but there is an excellent Tissot savagnin that will be very well with fondues. Prices are correct compared to the proposed presets. I recommend"

"The menu featured what appeared to me to be local dishes, which were prepared very well. We both had a chicken main dish and Paris Brest for dessert, and chose different starters terrine and snails. All very good. The service was warm and efficient. While...we were eating a large party came in and went to an upstairs room, but our service continued to be good."

"Usually central cafés aren't great, but I wanted to go here because I was very hungry and wanted to try some traditional (ish) foods. There was no English menu only French. I ordered the fillet of chicken franc comtois which was decent. The chicken was rather tough, though, and the only flavour came from the cheesy sauce. The fries, though, were delicious! Super crispy but soft on the inside. The waiter that served me was very nice and spoke a bit of English. I had two coffees as well which were decent. The bill came to around €19, which was a little pricey for what I got. I'd say go if you want something to eat and are in central Besancçon it was decent"
