"The restaurant is located on the main road between mountainous gladbach and bensberg. parking is possible before the restaurant, but there are not many of them. the place began, at least it looks like taking away and supply service for Italian...food they have added a small room that is beautifully decorated lately. if the weather is good, then add a few beer benches outside. the menu is not very large, they are known for their excellent pizzas. the pizzas are huge. we had an salate that was also great. that was a mistake. the service is beautiful."

"It has been a long time since we visited La Fornace and I was very excited to discover this Italian restaurant again. Our party of 7 over three generations booked a table outside in the shade on a balmy Friday night recently. The first thing I noticed was that the entire staff had changed. Service was fine and we were regularly having drinks (Kölsch as at least four of us were quite thirsty at night. To get things in the right mind, I order an Aperol Royal Prosecco, which I recently drank. Here it came in a tiny glass for over 4,00 euros. I was disappointed. As an appetizer, I liked the sound of the baby honeymoons with salad. I was disturbed, but to discover that there was a huge plate safe enough for a main course in fact did one of our party, in fact they order as its main course. I followed this with a pizza diavolo, which was huge, I just couldn't finish it. I suppose too much is better than not enough, but I just felt overwhelmed... The others in our party were satisfied enough. They had a number of dishes that were all well cooked. Somehow I went with mixed feelings. The place had somehow changed for an atmospheric position. One of the waitresses who could hardly speak German, let alone English, which seemed to be summarized for me, was the missing, secretly friendly feeling about the whole place I remember from the past. I'm sorry, but for me I classified it now as an average, although my 13-year-old son thought it was excellent because he liked his pizza margarita:"

"General The restaurant is located in the pedestrian area of Bergisch Gladbach and is therefore easy to reach. However, you need to climb some steps because there is no access below. Up there is a relatively large terrace – there are more places than inside. However, the Berich is well thought out and also has wind protection all around. Surroundings The restaurant is furnished like a bistro. The tables are already closely connected. But you still sit comfortably on the chairs. There are high tables, but we avoid them. We'd rather sit inside unless it's warm and sunny outside. Cleanliness Everything is neatly maintained. Sanitary If you arrive up, you do not have to go back to the depths, but then you can reach the plants in a flat way. Service All forces are friendly and attentive. The vegetables were plentiful. My wife was happy. Kalbsleber €21.90 For me I took “Leber”, my wife does not like indoors and therefore I would like to use a restaurant visit for this direction. I find the combination of liver and sage good. Even the sauce was tasted accordingly – but I still prefer the tuna to be used under the dish or served in an additional bowl for self-service. But also the combination on the plate was good. The liver was also well roasted The noodles were also sweet and tasty. Penne cattle stripes 15,90 The penne also does not wait too soft – whether they are made themselves is hardly visible; how the finished goods and those finished with a machine on site look completely the same. At first it seemed that little meat was on the plate, but in the middle there were more strips. The meat was still soft. Bread and oil were served with Balsamico. The dishes are well made – for example there are no surprises with soft noodles or dry pizza. Beverages Selters 6,90 € Price/performance ratio There are no bargains, but good quality has their price and Italian restaurants (competitors in the city are definitely not cheaper. Conclusion 3 – if it results; the house makes really delicious food and is good for us to reach. The competitors are already a kick better for us, but a bit more laborious – especially on weekends when the buses drive more rarely.
