"Don't be fooled by all those photos, that's what we looked at and was like yep let's go there. But when we got there the place was dead, you could hear the chefs and staff all in the back yelling talking. My partners food the seafood tasted like it was had been sitting in the freezer for years and the deep fryer oil was still dripping off the gross calamari that was served. The chips came out warm and not crispy. And then my salmon was only cooked on top but all inside was cold and uncooked and the skin was not crispy and watery.I told the chef and he was lovely enough to cook me another one. However when the next one came out it had no seasoning on it and was agin watery but tasted like he finished it in the microwave. And by that time I'd already finished my salad and chips were too cold to eat. The staff were lovely. But was just so disappointed by food. Wasted a good night there."

"Heat at Batehaven make the tastiest pizzas on the South Coast of New South Wales. There are no dine-in facilities, just takeaway. When you call and order, they are spot on with the available pick-up time they give you. Prices are reasonable with a good range of pizzas. Simply the best."

"Very nice club. It’s going to be gorgeous when the renovations are complete. It’s always a gamble when going to eat at a club. The food here is sensational. We had pork ribs (so tender it fell off the bones , pork cutlet (divine! chicken schnitzel and beef burger for the tin lids. Love love LOVED it. Definitely coming back when we are in the area. Thank you for great service and great food!"

"I put a big contract with advance notice in a last holiday after batemans bay. they had no flocks, only offered fried dim sims (not damped) and the chips were pushed and seemed overboiled or a few days old. I don't know why this place has a relatiw big call."

"Havent been here in 5 years, returned today for lunch and still amazing. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing, fish was so light and moist, the batter flakey and the chips where the best we have had in a while. Dont change anything guys doing a fantastic job."
