"I was visiting the area looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. With a variety of local Spanish places selling Mexican Food I opted for this corner shop as they advertised Tamales. I was not disappointed at all. I highly recommend the Tamales if you like a bit of spice to them and also recommend Tacos de Carnitas. Food was seasoned and authentic."

"To give a corner grocer 3 stars means a lot. Most places like this don't care about their store front, keeping the store clean, and they price gouge you. A1 has a good selection on the beer, wine, an spirits end. Clean storefront, overall safe feeling environment. Staff is friendly, and they have the type of grocery items you would really want at a place like this. Really no reason to go further out for Boh, or a bottle of wine."
