"This is a small family-run hotel in the centre of a historic city. We received a warm welcome after a long train journey on a chilly, wet night. We enjoyed an excellent meal in the best Burgundian tradition; the service was particularly friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable and we slept well. A further advantage is that the restaurant is open on Sunday evenings, not always an easy time in provincial France. Anyone who loves mediaeval art and enjoys good food should visit Autun; I would strongly recommend this hotel."

"Two evenings in a row we experienced great service, a lovely atmosphere outdoors as well as indoors and tasty, well-prepared french food. This restaurant serves delicious food from Burgundy and the South-West which makes it a great place to enjoy the variety of the french cuisine. The andouillette, the snails and the fried foie-gras are some of the best that we have ever eaten. And we are amateurs of the french cuisine."
