"I celebrated my 60th birthday at River Canyon on July 16. It was a wonderful night. The buffet, music, staff and Latin night show were amazing. My guests had so much fun. I also celebrated my 50th birthday here, that was 10 years ago! It was also a great night."

"I'd been attended annual company events at the Waterview conference facilities for 3 years now and have been quite impressed with the way the events were staged. No doubt our event organiser had a lot to do with this, but the way the functions were coordinated was quite impressive.Firstly the location is top class. Situated at one of Bicentennial Park with lovely surrounds and very adequate parking along the streets. Showing up just before sunset with sufficient light to appreciate the garden setting before pre-dinner drinks was an ideal introduction into the main event.The wait staff was attentive and efficient every time and catered to all our requests during the dinner. This was a huge corporate event with about 500 diners each time, with entertainment thrown in, so to be offered great service was quite commendable.The only downside for me was the close proximity of the dining tables to each other, but I suppose with a crowd this size, not a lot could be done with this arrangement in the hall.The quality of food was also worth a mention. Good quality and of a high standard, not far from a 5-star fine dining experience. Being a corporate event, there was no choice of menu but the pre-selection of cuisine was decent enough to satisfy a variety of palates.In summary, I would recommend this venue for a full blown corporate event with the expectation of a high standard of service and food, though I can't comment on a personal dining experience."
