"It 's a lovely stopover with hot pies, sandwiches, dessert slices and the usual coffee/hot chocolate. They open 8am to 5pm, but stop dining-in 430pm onwards, allowing only takeaway cups. There 's also a hot kitchen operating between 11am to 2pm, cooking burgers and chips. There is a large dining in area, and an al fresco sheltered outdoors. Chances of seeing the 'resident ' Kea birds are high! Rmemeber not to feed them! They also have a liquor bottle section, souvenirs/warm clothing sections, lots of snacks and sweets, and essentials such as dried food supplies, sauces, toothpaste, batteries etc."
