"Met up with a couple of friends for a coffee catch up, place was empty especially for a Friday, service was almost non existent, no indication if it was table service or order at counter, I had a child's chicken burger no chips, but same price, and a very small sprite, burger was ok, a few people came in later, I supported being a bar/cafe it picks up at night, but I think to encourage diners to eat there maybe have a lunchtime special menu might help"

"Some pizza was burnt. The other pizza had absolutely no sauce. It was so dry and horrible. Not even edible. The mushrooms looked and tasted like the were out of the can. I phoned to advise and they said well what do you want I can make you a fresh one but it will be exactly the same. I was so dissapointed and disgusted that I didn't get my money back. You couldn't possible get a worse pizza if you tried. Absolutely awful."

"Located inside the Dapto Bowling Club, this small restaurant offers Chinese meals as well as traditional Australian bistro food. When we arrived for lunch, we were the only ones there and most likely for that reason the place had no atmosphere. I could see the eager staff standing in the kitchen waiting for some orders to fill while a waitress helped us rearrange the tables so we could all sit together. (I'm not sure why this had not already been done when we had reserved a table for 11.)We ordered at the counter after perusing the menus, and were served quickly. The prices were average-around $20 for a main, and the servings were large. I didn't think the food looked very attractive, but there were no complaints from anyone about the taste. I had chicken parmigiana and it was tasty and filling.Huntley Bistro is nothing special and I wouldn't hurry back, but we also played barefoot lawn bowls which was great fun.A couple of club members got us some balls and showed us how to play. They were very friendly and helpful. We played for an hour and a half or so, and it only cost $5 per person.The overall experience for our family gathering was great."

"The food was quite enjoyable and prices reasonable but it took some time. To be fair there was a show on that night so the place was packed, we noticed that serving sizes (particularly ours) seemed to shrink as the night went on. I'd like to return when less crowded as I believe they can do better."
