"We celebrated our wedding in this economy in the middle of last month and were sadly more than disappointed. Already months before the wedding we registered and reserved for nearly 40 people. A few weeks before the appointment we were on site to discuss the menu. On this date we were told that due to a change in the kitchen, no too large menu can be made possible, which came to us, however, was simply a nausea. It was agreed that even when the guests arrived, sufficient antipasti is on the table for each guest present. If you don't want an antipasti, you have the opportunity to order a soup and it would be served immediately. When we arrived, we had to deal with all the space problems first. It was for too little people. Some families had to split up into different tables. At the bridal table we almost sat on each other's lap. The antipasti, of course, was not on the table yet, and our guests had to wait almost an hour for the soup we had to eat. The wish was expressed by my witness to bring the whole children to the starter of adults. The first child had received his food with the adult food, just under 1.5 hours after our arrival. In serving the main course was absolute chaos. It also seemed that, in addition to the host people, only a single unskilled, new help was present at the wedding that has been registered for months. In addition to all this, (on Friday noon) was constantly a circular saw in operation and access to the construction site was only temporarily closed, making it impossible to cold. Two stars only get this restaurant because the main course was enjoyable. We stopped our visit at short notice and moved the cake buffet home. It was really an impossible visit that could hardly have been worse. If you do not have the capacity to host such a company, you should not accept such events during a rebuilding."

"There is hardly anyone in the Munich music scene who doesn't know him and his restaurant: Wolfgang Holzhofer and Wendekreis in the Münchner Künstlerviertel Schwabing. Michael Jackson also celebrated there. However, this no longer works because the smiling musician snout bar returned to its roots: to the shores of the fishy, often quite lively Alz, who almost only know locals. And the latter are now dependent on the two host people, although some loyal followers from Munich like to experience the old market. The old, ugly single farm with gangway in the middle of the house was not renovated, but carefully prepared. The warm character of an economy remained in all rooms, although they now turn out to be a restaurant where there are unfortunately sauces and no sauces. I had announced to the host that I would tremble against him, because Wolfgang Holzhofer would be ideal to proceed with a good example. But he doesn't listen to a journalist! Thank God, he himself dispenses with the kidnapper of many volunteers. Even if his kitchen likes to go too far Gefielde to make his local guests appetite, this would certainly be very good with the native language! When the current contribution of DM-Zeiten comes at the first moment, prices are somewhat amazed when studying maps, the inclined Le(s)ser can consider on the one hand that he sits in Wiesenwildbach in the deepest, unobserved happier, Upper Bavarian province, excellent and therefore very expensive products and on the other hand hardly pays more than the cheapest food! I paid in 1999 for a four-course dinner 59,00 DM, plus Amuse-gueule (to translate hard into the Upper Bavarian) three-coloured and shaped, homemade noodles, however with too much bite and two types of baguettes with three types of spread: herbal glass, paprika cucumber and grievebenschmalz! Then followed a field salad with gooseberries small rapunzelas in an excellent Balsamico-Zwiebelchen dressing, which gave an eloquent testimony from the kitchen souvenir, lukewarm lobster cocktail a whole half lobster with the classic pink sauce, when the main course Seaweed Filets in lemon sauce with giant Bernds, vegetables and Peter Then he is a meat cat, like his father, anger in green pepper cream sauce with vegetables and roast potatoes (29.80 DM). He got this fine dish as offered small portion for 20,00 DM! Example from today: Meat plant with mushrooms in herbal cream, roast potatoes and salad (12.50 EUR). I'm looking forward to an evening at Holzhofer's next year. But then in the garden, with lots of pleasure, with bed and everything definitely worth the price again!"
