"I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly."

"We are sitting in this wonderful cafe, fully sated. This is the best cafe we have visited during our stay in Northumberland. You will not be disappointed with the variety of food on offer. Our main course was so filling that we couldn't manage a sweet. Wonderful. The waitress was very efficient and always on hand. Thank you"

"For those used to the quality of National Trust Catering offerings this was the only disappointing aspect of an otherwise very enjoyable day.. The main cooked options appear to be fried food not I'm afraid to our taste."

"We originally went to another pub on the street for a Sunday roast after we had closed alnwick and visited gardens. the first were not lunch, but asked for recommendations and they mentioned the black swan. I'm so glad they didn't serve when we missed this wonderful place. service was friendly and efficient. the food was well cooked, very tasty and beautifully presented. the place itself is very deceived from the outside, as you are inside like a tardis. it has a great atmosphere and manages to combine landdorf with contemporary style. really could not mistake the place and will definitely be back and recommend to friends"
