"This is the place to buy your coffee, roasted on site and ground before your eyes if you so desire. A good range of coffees, good advice and a range of pots, devices and cups. The range of teas and herbal teas is extensive. I...buy my coffee here all the time."

"We lunched here with friends a couple of days ago. The weather was very kind and we sat outside for drinks and our meal. The 13 Euro lunch was very good- a tasty soup- tureen left on the table so several bowl fills, an interesting dish called a Soufflé, but in fact slightly different but still yummy. Followed by Hache Parmentier or Hake, both very good, Cheese was pleasantly ripe "non" supermarket, and then a choice of Ile Flottante or a Creme Caramel. All well cooked and just the right portion size for lunchtime With some beers to start, a couple of pitchers of vin rouge, a couple of coffees, the bill came to 61 Euros for 4. You can't go wrong with this place - we will return."

"Hidden oposite the postoffice is this little gem. The only, truly refined restaurant within 10 km. Service is professional. Dishes beautifully presented. Dearing combinations but not over the top. Mainly French guests, which should tell you something. Try, but make a reservation."

"Comme l'affirme le nom de l'établissement, on peut ici déjeuner et diner "à fleur de Dronne" (nom de la rivière qui s'écoule aux abords de Ribérac). C'est super agréable, et permet de déguster une cuisine périgourdine assez classique. A ne pas rater si on s'y rend sur le temps de midi, où la formule déjeuner, assez économique, attire beaucoup de monde. Mets de qualité constante, mais manquant un peu d'originalité, tout comme la carte qui ne se renouvelle pas énormément. Mais comme on vient pour le cadre, ce n'est pas très grave."

"We had dinner here as a mixed age group of 6, the oldest being 83 & the youngest being 13. We were disappointed that the fish was off but the excellent steaks more than made up for the lack of fish. The food was not too expensive & the meal deal for €18 is excellent value for money. Overall we will definitely return here when we are next in the area!!"
