"The big breakfast is massive! the pancake is huge! delicious food, friendly staff and they make sure they have coffee at any time! in a trip this is my favorite breakfast in the opposite! Also...smothered hash browns! sweeping, cheese, sour looking! a new favorite!"

"This is a great place for coffee! we visited from houston and were so happy that we stopped here. there is coffee menu is really good with fair trips. they had a good number of breakfast sandwiches, bagels and baked! also at a fair price. the atmosphere is really neat with great decorations. our favorite was a small table with many small toys that feel in love with the small child! and the personal was super friendly. we went two days and they immediately reminded us of the second visit. this is a perfect location, even if they are going straight through the city. (not far from I-35 at all)"

"I travel a lot and stay in many budget-type hotels and motels, and that is definitely one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. we booked the hotel online, but when we arrived the writing (which was not at least five minutes before the reception when we arrived, told us they had no rooms. then she said she had another one and she would give it to us. (okay? the hotel is dingy and not well maintained very sloppy and unsightly. there is Wi-Fi, but it is extremely dirty. no washcloth in the bathroom. no coffee sauces in the morning, and the crispy continental breakfast corner I've ever seen. it looked like someone's dirty kitchen table wasted with random eating items. random people skulking around outside in the night, dirty outer (trash etc). if it is their last resort, it is a bed to sleep (when one is without a subsheet. but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise."

"Up from Iowa getting our cats fixed at the Albert Lea Humane Society and needed to eat and eat up some time. SO glad we went to Grandma's! The staff are friendly and attentive (even the cook came out and talked to us), the atmosphere is extremely laid back, the food is awesome--those were the best fries I have ever had--but it didn't break the bank. I would give it ten stars if I could. My little guy agrees!"

"Just a little different since Covid. But they are open and the food is amazing! I have the 16-oz Steak and Skal Saga Spuds! Steak was boiled to perfection and a potato was buttery as I like her amazing food."
