"We had a latenight dinner at this place. It is a smallish snackbar-like restaurant where you can eat in or take away. Good pizza and burgers, but they also have sandwiches, fries, salads and toasts. Very affordable prices and staff is very friendly. They also have beverages and eggs for sale supermarket style."

"We ate here on the chalet staff's day off4 adults and 3 small boys all had a beautiful meal we thoroughly enjoyed in cosy surroundings beside a log fireChausson de mon Grandmere was an exquisite puff pastry pie which tasted divineThe 3 cheese fondue was simple but delicious Savoyard food-shared The risotto was perfect and full of flavourThe boys had Steak( home made ground beef Burgers) with tasty triple cooked chips which the adults stole shamelesslyAll that and 1 1/2 litres of fully mature house red for €130 was less than twice what we were charged for rubbishy lunch in Plagne CentreService was prompt We hadn't booked I would love to go backThough it is in the village, the easiest access would be to ski there but in the last week of the season, snow did not extend that far"

"I went here with some of my friends to celebrate my birthday, we would have gone to the restaurant next door but since the prices were quite different, we decided for L'arlequin. The woman who runs the place was not very welcoming, and you did indeed feel a bit like you were bothering her by making your order. Bit of a "slim pickin" with only a few dishes on the menu, but the food was good. So judging by the prices in the surrounding, if you want a rather cheap and good meal - this is the place!"

"Booked in advance as we were a party of 16. All fine on the phone, reservation made no problem. When we arrived, we'd been split up (half on a table upstairs, half on a table downstairs) as they'd received more bookings since I phoned and they'd split us up so they could fit more tables in.... Not a good start. Waiter was very friendly and helpful (owner considerably less so on the subject of the reservation) and most of the food was tasty and well cooked. However, my husband and I ordered the cote de boeuf for 2 (medium to rare) and when it turned up it was pretty much inedible - over cooked to the point of no return and a really chewy piece of meat. We complained and were told that it had been rare when it had left the kitchen (it must have taken a detour via Australia before it reached our table) and that we'd eaten it all (we only managed to choke down half and then sent the rest back) so it must have been fine and we were clearly complaining about nothing. Customer service is not something that the owner of this restaurant understands. After much arguing, it was begrudgingly agreed that we would only have to pay half the cost of the beef. I would not go back."

"A charming little restaurant and comfortable bar. Perfect for a family meal because the owners are happy to entertain children. A varied and authentic French map to please everyone. The prices are good. The owner makes most of the kitchen himself and is friendly and welcoming. A very happy meal with delicious cuisine and a large selection of wines and beers. It's worth the detour when in Montalbert (Notice of Origin) A lovely small and cosy restaurant and bar. Perfect for a family meal as the owners are happy to entertain children. A varied and authentic French menu to please all. Price are good. The owner does most of the cooking himself and is friendly and welcoming. A very happy meal with superb food and a great election of wines and beers. Well worth a visit when in Montalbert"

"What can I say - the restaurant was packed but the service swift and sure - great theatre from George - two of us had the fixed price meal and George flambéed the meat in front of us all with a large part of a bottle of brandy - my wife had the Millefeuille Agneau which was tender and delicious - watching George making the creme brulee in front of his guests all added to the entertainment - great restaurant - great staff - great food - highly recommended"
