"A place to have some kind of burger. One of us had curry and that was not good. Extensive beer list, but 11-12 chf for 33cl bottle is way overpriced, especially those Estonian beers, check them how much they cost in Estonia, you'll be shocked, honestly. Service: the old guy at the terrace bar ignored us, as he was very busy browsing on his smartphone. The other waiter, constantly repeating "you've got it" was ok. The inside didn't seem clean. The whole experience was meh, and not sure it's a place to return nor recommend to anyone."

"I came here oftentimes after swimming in Adliswil and is a great place to have a quick meal. I usually get a burger and fries and it is delicious. I absolutely love it and highly recommend!"

"Went there over lunch a couple of times over the summer and sitting at the lake in across the Lindt factory is great. Always went for the “David Gym” menu which is meant to be low carb and I was always pleased with the food,...fresh, and the seasonings. Will be back again even if a bit “chickey mickey”."

"Leider gibt es in diesem Restaurant weder Glacés noch Coupes auf der Speisekarte, so wurde uns das vom Personl mitgeteilt, als wir n einem über 30 Grad warmen Sommerabend einkehren wurden. Das ist einfach sehr schwach und für ein Restaurant, welches zusätzlich noch zu einem Hotel gehört, ein Armutszeugnis."

"I used to eat in Portofino years ago before the renovation took place and was curious to know how it now looks like! The new interior is nice and the location is very beautiful right at the lake but... Unfortunately the food was mediocre (we ordered Pizza and Pasta all pesto genovese plus beetroot salad) and the service was ok. Sadly this beautiful place still offers only a nice view but nothing else! Would not recommend it to anybody."

"Unpleasant staff over priced food beware of your « orchids and carrot decorations » on the plate !!! They are reused over and over on all different plates. Completely unhygienic ! And last but not least...get ready to pay 3. each time you ask for a bottle of tap water..which was warm enough to make a cup of fresh earl grey my advise : there are a lot of better thai restaurants in Zurich. This place sucks."

"Went here with some friends for a vegetarian tasting menu. The food quality and the presentation was exquisite and the service was excellent the chef was extremely creative especially as he’d tried to use mainly seasonal and local produce. A wonderful dining experience and I would also say very good value given the time it must have taken."

"Not only is it really authentic mexican cuisine, the food quality, the nice service and the very fair prices made it one of the best experiences we ever had with a restaurant.I went for an experiment and tried the Chiles en nogales... LIterally the best gourmet experience I had in years. If you travel through Zurich, this place is worth a trip to the nice town of Thalwil right beside the lake and checking out this little pearl."

"This is the sort of place that a visitor to Zurich would not be able to find. It's in the middle of nowhere. There's only a small road that is wide enough for one car and this is a two way street. So we had...to follow our host up the hill and down the hill to get to the place. If your were driving more than 30 km you would miss this restaurant. The restaurant is in a quaint non descript house. The ceiling is not more than 6.6 feet high. The chef and one of the waiters had to keep ducking their heads walking to the back. In one word very authentic. They had a large choice of dishes on their menu. It was venison season so we had venison steak. One thing that I would have liked to have is more veggies with my main dish. This is not a cheap place and the prices are steep. The starters can go upto 29 Sfr and the main dish can empty your bank account of 66 Sfr. This fine dining at it's finest. I would suggest to go there for very special occasion if you are not used to the prices. Overall, it was a great experience."
