"Went there over lunch a couple of times over the summer and sitting at the lake in across the Lindt factory is great. Always went for the “David Gym” menu which is meant to be low carb and I was always pleased with the food,...fresh, and the seasonings. Will be back again even if a bit “chickey mickey”."

"This is a hidden gem. Easy to make reservations. Stunning views. Popular with locals. Impeccable service. Warm and friendly and professional and yet easy going. I am actually their neighbor and come by just for a coffee sometimes. Nice seating available outside on a clear day also. Decent prices actually. Feels like a place that makes efforts to hold on to older, higher standards, without being pretentious."

"Wir waren vor einer Woche an einem Samstag Abend mit Freunden in der Steinburg. Ein rundum perfekter Service, sehr freundliches Personal und ausgezeichnetes Essen inkl. Weinempfehlung rundeten den Abend ab.Besonders zu empfehlen: das Tartar und die Kalbsbäggli. Wir können das Restaurant zu 100% weiter empfehlen und werden sicher wieder kommen!"

"The restaurant does not look nice at all. There was clearly an rustic Swiss German restaurant there before and they have done very little to change the original look, a few Asian decoration hanging on the wall, but nothing to create an authentic ambiance...in the restaurant. The food was only fair in quality and that is by being generous. The chef uses far too much Vinegar in the sauces. The only thing that I found nice about this restaurant was the nice and friendly service"

"This place by the lac, gives you the view to the mountain and allows you to have a nice drink and relax. The atmosphere is always great, especially in Summer, outside with always something going on. it could appear a bit pricey but it is...Zurich. Food wise, various dishes offered of quality and very well served. It will satisfied the most of the gourmands out there."

"Some friends and I decided to meet for a drink at this restaurant late on Tuesday evening. The service was outstanding; friendly, funny and fast! The chef offered us some amazing deer salami and fresh bread to enjoy with our wine, and it was sooo tasty all of us wanted to buy some (not for sale, though, as they didn't have any in stock). Looking forward to enjoying a full dinner here in the near future."

"Well, the stuff was quite friendly but slowly. The mushroom fondue was weak, it didn't fit very well the fondue cheese and some of the mushrooms. The bread was warm and that was pleasant."
