"This place is really unassuming, just behind the courts on King William Street!

One of Adelaide's only authentic Police restaurants, I came here for lunch after falling in love with Pierogi (a polish dumpling) when I tried some at the Adelaide Central Markets.

My partner & I decided to share a plate of Pierogis & a plate of Kielbasa (Polish Sausages with a Russian Potato salad, seeded mustard hollandaise, pickled cucumber & beetroot).

It was great talking to the server (she is a member of the family that owns the restaurant) and to hear the passion that is put into each Pierogi. They are way more complex than you would imagine and the result was divine. Absolutely delicious & perfect on a cold day.

The Polish sausages were good too - for some reason it felt strange to eat the old salads with it, but I got used to that quickly & the tastes were strong and flavourful.

It's quite expensive, and I can't quite figure out if it is more of a restaurant or a cafe, but I'd definitely recommend coming here to experience some authentic eastern European food."

"For the food quality overpriced. Besides Borsch, which in fact didn't taste like Ukrainian one, the rest didn't come good. Prices don't match the quality. The service is nice, but that doesn't help much when food is different."

"Great market and very central. They have everything you need and much more. Unfortunately we don’t live in Adelaide so could not buy anything. However, we had a coffee and a pastry in one of the cafes inside and it was very good."

"As the name suggests the Dom Polski Centre is very, well, PolishI've been to Poland and the Centre really does have that authentic feel."
