"This place is a true hidden gem, just up Kensington Road from the Victoria roundabout. I've been lunching here regularly for 2 years now.Quite possibly the smallest cafe I've ever set foot inside (only 6 or so inside tables and a couple outside) but the food that comes out of the kitchen is really first class and a definite cut above regular cafe food. It's probably more of a bistro really.Their freshly made salads are outstanding. Lots of variety (they usually have 3 different ones each day) and good sized serves. They also do wraps and foccaccias.The uber hot dogs are the best I've ever tasted ANYWHERE, and the daily specials (including their weekly laksa) are always delicious and well thought out.There's nothing on the menu that I haven't remotely liked. Tina the cook/chef just seems to have great instinct for blending ingredients and flavours to perfection. Her son Kain is front of house and one of the friendliest young men you'd ever meet.They have no problem custom making something if you have special dietary requirements.I believe they also do catering.Can you guess I'm one of their biggest fans?Uber Food is a must visit place if you're looking for a quick, inexpensive, delicious lunch just minutes from the CBD.Highly recommended."

"Visited this place several times and still think this some of the best soup in town. Choose your ingredients and pass the big bowl to the counter for a weigh in. Then sit and shortly a steaming bowl of soup and cooked ingredients will land on you table. Charged by weight $10 12 per serve will fill you up. Staff will give you and your bowl a numbered tag to make sure you get what you chose. Small bowls are for extras on little table at the end of the counter. If you are a chilli lover go for it. If not tell the staff on ordering but you are missing a real taste experience."

"Always a good choice of places to eat. Can be difficult to find a seat during busy periods, like Friday evenings. I had some Teriyaki chicken and rice, and it was so very yummy. I also got a drink (with a funny name) from the Asian market just next to food court."

"Stopped in for a quick lunch and was happily satisfied. Had a delicious roast chicken dark rye roll w/ roast pumpkin, avo, spinach provolone cheese. Service was swift and polite with decent prices to boot. U can sit inside or outside the place is clean and trendy or as the name states a bit of funk!"
