What 2Shalin doesn't like about Le Resto De La Gare:
This restautrent is opposite the station, and majors on this convenience. We had pizzas which were OK but not great, and seemed under-generous (size wise) compared to our local pizza restaurents. I like parmesan cheese, so when it said 'copious ', it was tempting. I suppose different people have varied views of what 'copious ' means. Had a quick dinner here one night of my visit to Saumur Food excellent and fine service very traditional fine french food Most enjoyable experience recommend

A small bistro near the station and Hotel Ibis Styles. The staff were extremely friendly. The steak and the duck meals we had were excellent.
