Very good portion with adorable pricing. I read mixed reviews about the place but I had a good experience here. We ordered half-half pizza (Big John pizza/ seafood) and spaghetti carbonara. They were both delicious. Service was good. Homely ambience. The dark lighting and stuffy...atmosphere feel quite dull. We had the 2002 Big John’s Shiraz. It was sweet, unusual for View all feedback.

The addition of a lemon wedge was a nice touch and really elevated the pizza.
The food was delicious, the service was good as well. The seafood platter for two was incredibly large. I'm not sure how two people could finish it. However, overall it was a good value, with generous portions of food and a great place for seafood!
I have always been pleased with this restaurant. I believe that the negative reviews come from negative individuals. In all the times I have dined there, I cannot imagine them being rude or disrespectful unless the customer was unreasonable. This place may not be the Ritz Carlton, but it offers delicious mid-range pizza and Italian dishes, along with fantastic coffee and drinks. I absolutely adore this spot.
Can't remember if I've ever had a bad meal at Big John's in Sans Souci. Last night I had the Bosciola with Spaghetti and it was outstanding with amazing garlic bread. Seafood dishes and pizzas are also magnificent
This restaurant is a great choice for dining with a large group and indulging in delicious seafood until you are full! We ordered the large seafood platter, which was packed with a variety of tasty options. It was perfect for our group of 8, as there was plenty to go around. The only downside of this restaurant is its small size and the fact that the kitchen is right in front of you, creating a crowded and hot atmosphere. I recommend arriving between 8:30 and 9 to avoid the large crowds and secure a good table. It's worth waiting to have a more relaxing dining experience and truly enjoy your evening.
