A recent visit to Pampano, a Caribbean fusion restaurant on Union Street, left customers with mixed feelings. While some praised the friendly and efficient service, delicious food, and strong drinks, others were disappointed with the lackluster dishes and high prices. The atmosphere was described as lively but incredibly loud, with some even finding it uncomfortable. Overall, the restaurant's unique beach-style design and location were noted, but opinions on the food and experience varied greatly among patrons.

I love coming here on a summer day in San Francisco. The decor is so funky and makes you feel like you're on a tropical vacation. The food is delicious and not your typical fare for the Marina. We came during Restaurant Week and had a three-coursemeal for $45. Not bad! I ordered the coconut shrimp, jerk chicken, and the malasadas. So delicious. The perfect spot for acelebration!

Cute restaurant with friendly staff. My boyfriend and I got the avocado smash, fries, and 5 coconut shrimp as appetizers, the jerk chicken as an entree, and two non-alcoholic drinks for $99. I was a little disappointed because even though we placed ourorder before 6pm they did not give us happy hour prices on the appetizers. Also, I get that it?s Union Street but the price wassuch that I don?t think we would come back except for a special occasion.

The drawer here is having they allow dogs in and have special meals for dogs. Food is good. Nice drinks. Very loud

The service was great and the food came fast. The Luau Poke Bowl was tasty and very fresh. The Smashed Avocado Dips was overly salty but the Taro chips were crunchy and delicious. Overall I will return.
