I live close to Villa Capri and went there hoping to find a good local place I could support regularly. I got that — and more. Excellent food, outstanding service, and reasonable prices. I cannot find one thing wrong with Villa Capri. We started with the tricolore saIad; then I had the penne marscapone, and my companion had the chicken saltimbocca. To be honest, I haven’t tried their entrees but Villa Capri is a great place for coffee and dessert. The waiters are funny and the service is so hospitable. They seriously treat you like family. "The ladies at Rose Donuts will impress you with their delicious donuts and stellar customer service. I love this place. I had a temporary work gig in mission valley and during that time I would often stop by Rose's in the morning for some coffee and a raspberry donut. One of the ladies got to know me and once she saw me in line, she would start to grab what I wanted while I waited in line- raspberry donut, coffee and just the right amount of creamer. Every so often I would change it up and get something different. What was really nice was that they had such a wide variety of options beyond donuts. Their bagel choices were so delicious as well as their muffins. The donuts were great but what I really loved was the genuine sense of pride and friendliness. They always said Hi and had a friendly smile. I no longer work in the area but the next time Im down there I'll probably stop in. This is a true mom/pop type business. Those ladies are in there EARLY making fresh donuts and living the life. If you're going to support a local business this is a great shop that deserves your patronage."

"Bowls are pretty tasty and well served. Not too pricey. Fish is fresh and you can choose many ingredients to include within the bowl. I recommend the spicy tuna. WC was messy and the venue is just a place to grab a quick bite, not too comfy. Staff is friendly and service is super fast. Conveniently located in a small plaza."

"Tom yum was delicious, the Thai fried rice had a nice moist texture, but it was very bland. The chicken large was a bit sweet, and Pad see ew was also very sweet. The noodles may have been stir fry too long as it was broken in pieces."
