"Right off, I'm not really a salad guy. I'm not. I'll eat salad from time to time, but it's just not something I go out of the way for.Until today. Friend invited me to lunch and suggested Salata. I hesitantly agreed. Wow, was I surprised. First off, this place is clean, like really clean. The Loomis fresh. The ingredients are all.in.the open so you're watching them build your salad or wrap. Today I went for the Caesar. Started off traditional, but I added spinach, extra egg. And chicken for a protein. I'm a big eater but the small bowl was plenty for me.They were appropriately generous with their servings and toppings. I always wonder sometimes if I'm getting enough of a particular item on a plate, but when they mixed it the end, I could tell my salad ingredients were proportioned well.I emptied the bowl, last bite as good as the first. It was a healthy meal and I walked away full and satisfied. I don't think I could have asked for anything else different. Maybe free ice cream, but I digress. : Overall, this is a place I will go back to fairly often. It's nice to have an alternative to just burgers, chicken sandwiches and other fast food. Go there. You won't be disappointed. If you are, look inside yourself and ask yourself what the lettuce leaf did to hurt you. ;"
