Was M at Moochie's Meatballs & More a mag?
Know what you want, yes even if you haven?t been there before. The workers are in a hurry and so are the people in line. Do yourself a favor and eat your meal on the cute patio. I ate half of my delicious meatball, feta, and jalapeño cream sauce sub at the nearby Capitol, and then saved the other half. Don?t make this same mistake. I only realized my error when I went for more. The bread had absorbed every ounce of l... View all feedback.

What Gayle Olson dislikes about Moochie's Meatballs & More:
Maybe things at Moochies used to be better. Seems overpriced. Good food (though maybe a little boring). Interesting, cool atmosphere. But I think DP Cheesesteaks has better food and better prices. View all feedback.

I hadn't been here before until last night. My boyfriend and I were looking for something cheap and Italian, so we decided to give this place a try. It was evening, we arrived at the restaurant and ordered. We ordered separately but I don't think it could have more obvious that we are in fact a couple. I paid about eight dollars for my food and left a two dollar tip. We sat down and waited for our food which didn't take long. One of the cooks near the register (a big dude with a belly and a beard) was calling out orders, and as he called my boyfriend's name he made eye contact with me. I thought that was strange but forgot about it immediately after. Once my boyfriend had sat down with his sandwich, he called me up for my order. I went to grab my meal and this guy is trying really hard to make eye contact with me. I'm shy and struggle with eye contact so I tried to be polite but something about the way he was acting was very forced. He then says, "Thank you, I REALLY appreciate it," nodding and looking at me with these giant wide eyes. I smiled and went and sat down not sure why he had thanked me so aggressively. At first I honestly thought it was because of the tip. I don't usually like to assume that people are hitting on me, and the experience was mildly uncomfortable so I forgot about it and tried not to look up while we ate. My boyfriend was far more suspicious, and turned around multiple times during our meal to find this man staring at me. He even overheard the man say to a coworker, "I wonder if he knows I'm staring at his girl." Once we'd finished eating we went up to the counter to throw away our garbage and return our trays, and the man starts thanking me again, asking me how my meal was, if I liked it, etc. None of this was said in a warm or jovial manner but instead an overwhelmingly intense and creepy one. Still the persistent eye contact, never smiled once throughout all my interactions with him. Really off-putting. The only time he acknowledged my boyfriend was when he asked where the fry sauce was. I've never left a poor review in my life, I really don't eat out much, but I do not appreciate being made to feel so uncomfortable in public, especially when I'm just trying to have a quiet night out with someone I love. I don't understand the kind of person that would act like that, especially at work. Who enjoys being stared at by a complete stranger while they're eating? It's rare that I experience such blatant disrespect from someone in customer service.

Amazing food!! Plain and simple, you won't be disappointed!! The classic Philly sandwich is as close as I have found to the ones back east. The gyro sandwich is wonderful. But the true hidden gem on the menu is the Reuben, do yourself a favor and order this, you won't regret it!!

I had heard such good things about Moochies, and I was so disappointed. Sub-par meatballs on bread that is no better than Subway's. Their fries and onion rings were superb, but not enough of a reason to go back. The meatballs were so bland and the sauce left much to be desired.

Pretty darn good. Prices were fair enough. Enjoyed the creamy jalapeno sauce. Would also enjoy another sauce kicked up a bit. Perhaps something with cayenne in it. Will give this place another visit. Tried the meatball and the cheese steak sandwiches so far.

I prefer this location to the one in Midvale. It's cleaner and has a nice layout. Not as much space, but it's brighter inside. The fried ravioli was good, but the macaroni and cheese got cold pretty quick and the sauce was really thick. Still tasty but not great.
