Hideaway Pub - Salmon Arm

The food is your typical pub grub , good and not expensive. I have gone during the day and was good! At night it's more action with the night club.

I stopped there for a light lunch, ordered a clubhouse sandwich with side salads. The clubhouse was just 2 slices instead of the usual 3. It was fairly good but the apple slaw was dark in color and didn't look fresh at all. The manager/waiter was overly friendly not in a good way and overall I didn't enjoy being there. My husband and daughter were of the same opinion. We have been to this pub before when it was under a different ownership and it was quite good. There has been a definite downturn.

Best Chicken Wings in the Shuswap Area and beyond, the food is great, the price is reasonable, we have been coming here for awhile the restaurant has improved food wise in the last 2 months let's hope it continues

We were in Salmon Arm on a holiday weekend and couldn't find much open. The Hideaway was open and was recommended by one of the locals. The experience was good, but not great. The Seafood Fettuccine was mediocre. Heavy on mussels, and not much else. The BBQ chicken pizza was overcooked and the dark cheese overwhelmed the flavour of the rest of the ingredients. I would not go back when there are so many other places to choose from.

Very pleased with the rib special and even the steak sandwich special. Delicious food, good value. I find some of the wait staff could tone down the volume, laughter, and familiarity with the customer. A bit noisy at times but it is a bar/pub
