The meals were delicious. I had the Curry with shrimp, she who must be obeyed had a beef dish. i tasted both (hers under duress,) and they were both very very good. What User doesn't like about Chiang Mai Orchid:
I used to come here fairly often and I remember the food being very tasty and fresh - of course I usually came for lunch. I found the prices very over-inflated for the meal provided, and while you can specify the heat level of the food, I was lacking in heat after ordering 4/5 and left searching for the robust flavours I remember. As people who love Thai food, this was a truly disappointing experience for my partner and I.
Waitress was very nice. For those who have Thai food elsewhere, this is not very authentic. Very disappointing!

I spent over 30 dollars there and the food was absolutely garbage. I do not recommend this place for anyone. Not good Thy food at all.
