I think they have a Michelin star..if they don't they certainly deserve one! It just so happens that my birthday is on 14th July Bastille Day so I was treated to a special dinner at Le Chalut. What Tristan Costa doesn't like about Le Chalut:
New owners have yet to find their feet. We thought we were going to La Chalut but the card with the bill said Meson which might suggest they are looking to forge their own path. Whilst the service was friendly and helpful, spilt wine and underwhelming ‘Amuse Bouche’ (dry and under seasoned plus fish overcooked) raised the alarm bells.
