"Excellent service, food and price-quality. The server was always happy to help and seemed to have an education in hospitality. The food itself was great as well, large portions which were of high quality, with an open kitchen, so we could see them working. While the open kitchen also added to the charm of the restaurant itself, which was very tastefully decorated. Overall I would say that it's a hidden gem that we were lucky to discover during our final evening in Saint-Jean-de-Monts. Especially considering we hadn't made a reservation ahead of time. It was a fantastic ending to our vacation. If I had to give one thing that could have been better than it'd have to be that the dishes followed eachother up to quickly. But that'd honestly be the only thing I could think of. If we ever return to this city then we'll be sure to return. Greetings from Belgium!"

"We were staying in St Gilles for one night and hadn't booked dinner anywhere. This restaurant was down the road from our hotel and is well placed for the centre of town. We popped in when they opened and asked if there was a table free. They immediately found a space for us even though they were very busy. The service was excellent as was the meal itself. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in St Gilles."

"Small portions, not enough sauce, weird bowls. The moules are just OK, nothing special. There are better places around here with bigger portions that don't charge you for extra chips if you run out. Also, we were refused a table outside as we hadn't booked even though 2 were available. They were still available when we finished and we watched one being given to group of young lads who hadn't booked either. Was very disappointed as we came here when it first opened and it was much better than this. I suspect getting number 1 on Tripadvisor has gone to their heads :"
