Tucked into a corner of the always busy Timberline Center, this tiny humble Asian kitchen was off my radar screen.__No longer, I came in for a landing.

"Wonderful selection, great atmosphere, helpful and polite staff and very fresh burgers. Had also a shake and it was very smooth and delicious. Very recommended. Please do not take other people so good reviews with a grain salt. A new restaurant with new staff will go through growing pain. Give them a shot, it won't disappoint. Great job guys!"

"Finally made it to Sammy Lou's! The ribs brisket were absolutely delicious the CFS was pretty good. We decided to get a pound of brisket to go and it was so melt in your mouth. Made it back about a week later and had the meatloaf 3 meat trio (ribs both sausages). The meatloaf was good, a bit warm on one end and got hotter at the other. If I try it again, will take it with the red gravy to see if there's any real difference. Both sausages were very tasty and the ribs were awesome, again. We skipped dessert but did take a pound of brisket home."

"I lived in Germany. I have lived in the USA since 1973 (when I was 13 years old). This place has the best food that I 've had anywhere since moving here back then.Whatever hassles you have to get through to get here, become distant memories after the first bite goes in your mouth.On my first visit, I was shocked when the owner told me I was about to have the BEST jägerschnitzel I 'd ever had. I was like... Okay! This guy doesn 't know where I 've been all over the USA. That 's a cocky thing to say. Well... It was! And, his story about how he got here with this restaurant is fantastic too! You 'll understand the decor completely, if you can get him when he 's got enough time to tell you about it.And, he most definitely knows how to pour a beer properly. The best pour I 've seen from a commercial restaurant.Pay attention to the little things. They matter!Makes his own pineapple schnapps. Best of the best!"

"Plan to spend some time so you get your money's worth...or go early and throughout the day. most of the classics are here but have some defects not unlike it was in the day...but overall not terrible. This is a hard business model to maintain...so maybe they will fix wobbly machines and do some additional refurbishment. Lets keep visiting this place as it has potential."
