This was our first time in Paris and our first experience with Paul Bakery. The pastries were amazing. We tried about nine different things. The savory items were good, but no match for the sweets. My favorite was the apricot pastry - I wish we had a recipe. If you go here try a variety of items, you’ll will likely fall in love with French pastries, if you haven’t already! View all feedback.

What chrisbarkinsta dislikes about Paul Bakery:
The new system is a absolute s everyone takes so long to make his order at the counter! And then it takes 4 times to do the payment cause the first tries are not accepted! Even more the People working there are lazy and unfriendly View all feedback.

I took a chance on ordering a pre made sandwich and watched painfully as 4 workers behind the counter handled things. The non French speakers ahead of me had a rough time ordering, English could not have been their 1st language either and it took a long time. The baker moved from front to back of the house, and the assistant placed items on shelves that were almost full while the sales girl struggled with one customer at a time and the cashier awaited to ring up orders. Wouldn't things go faster if 3 of them could take turns taking orders then ringing them up? Would you expect in an airport gloved pastry shop workers to wear possibly face masks or hair nets? I am an airline professional and speak fluent French and wear a mask throughout the airport as well as my service on the plane. I ordered in French while wearing full uniform and badge, and was denied a discount as the color of my badge was not a Charles De Gaulle airport red one. Not extending a courtesy airline discount is a bad policy and I will make every effort not to come stop by again. Furthermore, I know better not to order coffee chez Paul in France as it is never right,
