The experience began with a disappointing encounter with an unfriendly young woman at the counter. I was surprised to see the sad-looking fish on my plate, as I had expected to find only rubber sharks at a toy store. The chips were also a letdown, with the potatoes appearing to be in a sorry state, cut up into small pieces. Neither the food nor my mood were uplifted by the meal. Came across this gem of a restaurant for lunch today and it was an amazing culinary experience.
When we first arrived, we were greeted and seated For what seemed like way too long, nobody then spoke to us Eventually, our waiter arrived.
Right when we walked in, all eyes were on The man who ran the place walked us to our seats in the back It was busy around 10pm.
Visited Sun 7th May for the first time. Price was cheap but the portion size extremely small. Won't be back.
The worst fish n chips I've ever had! The picture says it all... the chips were soaked in oil and inedible! Fish cake was over cooked, lacked in flavour and was also on edible...
