I enjoyed eating in their outdoor section. Good music. The burger was so flavorful and unlike any burger I’ve had, in a good way. I wish the $14 burger came with fries but I guess prices have gone up everywhere. Worth a visit if in the area read more.

Really excellent and easy stop with our kids after a day out at Montauk! We ate in their outdoor seating, which has you ordering at the window. The picnic table...

"Wednesday date night out with my husband and the atmosphere was very nice. I had no idea that downtown Riverhead had such a gem right on Main Street. Pro tip: Riverhead has limited on street parking but there are municipal parking lots on the next block and behind the restaurant. Allow a few extra minutes for parking.On to the good stuff. The food was AMAZING. One might even say outstanding. We started out with the crab cake appetizer. The sauces on the plate were delicious and I wanted to get every drop of those sauces into my mouth.We both ordered the Bison Cowboy steaks. The cook on them was perfect as was the seasoning. Chef Ian knows how to handle exotic meats properly. I felt like I was back in Cody, Wyoming eating my very first bison steak. It was that fresh and flavorful. His sauces were the perfect accompaniments to the bison. I am very picky about my sauces and I was very pleasantly surprised.Our server Alyssa made our night out both memorable and enjoyable. She was attentive, upbeat, knowledgable about the menu offerings and showed a passion for the food there.WE WILL BE BACK! I can't wait to try the Elk and explore the menu further.side note: The restaurant did a great job of maintaining covid precautions and protocols. "Let me first share how this place for the first time confused visitors. There are two windows. A parking lot (or the ice shop) and the opposite. The one parking lot opposite is cashier and the other is not. Here's the confusing part. There's a sign that says taking through the cashier side. On the other hand, on the window, is an open dining area. This led me to believe that the parking side is only for extradition orders or go to the other side for immersion. But that was not the case. I had to order from the parking side, pay and then find the order number, wait patiently until my number is called. If you are waiting on the line to order, ask someone before you to pass the menu so you can choose what you want while you kill time on the line. Thanks for reading such a long intro. Now the food... It was worth waiting. We have the steak and chicken fajitas (2 Diff orders), Aroz con pollo and they were all good. Salsa and vegetables are fresh and the portions were fair. When I come back to this area, it will definitely be superior to return."
