"Wonderful day trip from York! We rented 3 bikes: 2 mountain bikes 1 e-bike for the non-cyclist among us (me). The Swale Trail was lovely and a very pleasant ride along the river and past green pastures. On the way back, we decided to stick to the road, as it was smoother and had barely any traffic, plus it gave us a different vantage point. It was a bit of an effort to get to the top of the hill, but then it was smooth sailing all the way back down into town. The best thing about the rental experience, though, was the proprietor. He's the type of person you can instantly sense is a caring and decent human being. He was pleasant, helpful, and graciously accommodating of us making last-minute changes. Truly a pleasure!"

"Went on Saturday with family and had a beautiful meal with excellent service and atmosphere. Visited again tonight with my daughter for the set menu and it was beautiful, outstanding value. The food and service were outstanding. Can’t wait to visit again when we are next in the area."
