"Das Utspan ist ein kleines uriges Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Wir waren 2 Familien spontan zum Abendessen. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und super lecker, wir hatten Scholle und Matjes jeweils mit Bratkartoffeln gewählt, die Kinder Nudeln. Das Personal hat uns nett und zuvorkommend bedient. Allerdings muss man bedenken, das jetzt keine Hauptsaison ist. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und kommen bestimmt wieder."

"Last year, I almost reserved a table in the restaurant for every evening of our Baltic Sea holiday. Because of the corona restrictions, I simply had reservations at short notice to get no place in the restaurant. Even though I have fixed dates on holiday, the reservations contributed to the relaxed holiday. Because it stood in the evening where our place is. Considering where to go for dinner, so superfluous. I also reserved a few restaurant visits for this year's holiday. On the first evening it should be a restaurant within walking distance from our apartment. In the car we sat long enough that day. My choice fell on the stunner. At the beginning of the year there was a change of operator here. We arrived and were kindly asked by a gentleman (restaurant manager? for our reservation. From our apartment it was just a cat jump on the so-called plateau. The restaurant is very freestanding and surrounded by pine trees. The wind-protected places were unfortunately all occupied. So we decided to have a table in the already well visited restaurant. We didn't feel right now, this should not change even during the evening. It was just too dark in the restaurant. Dark furnishings, the overall ambience very sober and the lighting simply bad. In addition, it was very restless and loud. And quite far behind in the restaurant there was also no fresh air supply. The seating was at least convenient. . The menu was served by a young lady. Little later, she kindly accepted our wishes. 1 bottle of mineral water, € 4.90 0.75 l 2 Piece of Pinot, winery boiler ring, Palatinate, € 6.30 0.2 l 1 Grauburgunder, winery boiler ring, Palatinate, € 6.50 0.2 l 2 mixed salads per € 6.50 2 x cod fillet with leaf spinach (my husband asked for an alternative to spinach and rosemary spoons € 18.90. Our drinks were served quickly and well cooled. And shortly after, a kitchen helper set 2 main foods before us, but these were not for us. As it turned out during the evening, the service was supported by this Lord. This guy's new in the team, he didn't just drop the dishes at the wrong guest once. Easy remedy: Guests may appeal to the serving party in advance. Then there is a confusion without the wrong guest whining over the food. Correctly served the mixed salads a little later. Unlike expected, almost entirely without leaf salads. Finely cut fresh raw food consisting of tomato, cucumber, red and yellow peppers. Nice and fresh. Mixed salad Good raw food flavor, the Klecks discreetly seasoned Crème fraîche replaced but not the missing dressing. Overall, we found the salad too high priced. With a small detour to guests who carefully refused to accept our main foods, the cod (which is offered as cod) reached us. S looked good (better than it produced the photos in lobster light with green light effects, raw good and also tasted. The vegetable supplement was placed under the fish fillet. As an alternative to leaf spinach, for my husband there were colorful Mediterranean vegetables also predominantly paprika, zucchini, tomato and onions. However, if they could have used a stronger roast, they were a bit watery overall by the prepared cooking. After the long day we were happy for the attentive service. We paid to the Lord who received us in the evening and wished each other a nice evening. Interesting I find the offer on preorder: fondue evening: finest meat fish variations, fresh vegetables and homemade dips. € 19,90 per person."
